A civil parish and railway town within the Cheshire East borough and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England is Crewe /kruː/ ('Cryw' in Welsh). Built in fields near to Crewe Hall and was completed in 1837 was Crewe station.

Within the United Kingdom Parliamentary constituency of Crewe and Nantwich is Crewe. A 67-acre location with offices, research and IT manufacturing is Crewe Business Park.

Less than a mile from Crewe town centre, although it was not incorporated into the then Borough of Crewe until 1937, is Crewe station. Located in the old LMS yard for Crewe station is Crewe Heritage Centre. On the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) campus in Crewe is the Axis Arts Centre.

Located at Nantwich's Barony Park are the Crewe & Nantwich Steamers, while at the Willaston's Vagrants Sports Ground, Crewe and Nantwich RUFC play their home games. Staged in Crewe in the pioneer days of the late 1920s to early 1930s was Speedway racing.

In the centre of Crewe is the Edwardian Lyceum Theatre. Crewe had two grammar schools, Crewe Boys' GS, Ruskin High School now and Crewe Girls GS, (formerly Kings Grove School) the Oaks Academy now, until the late 1970s.

Located in or near Nantwich are Crewe's local rugby clubs. The Lifestyle Centre at Crewe, which houses the Swimming Pool of Crewe now after, in 2016, the premises at Flag Lane closed, is Crewe's main leisure facility.
